ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our rapidly expanding team.

As an agency that’s driven by creativity, we are looking for someone who can think outside the box, is passionate about social media and enjoys keeping up to date with lifestyle trends. This is an extremely attractive role for a senior candidate who has a strong network of connections (both press and influencer), has an entrepreneurial spirit, and thrives when working in a fast paced environment.

This role will require you to manage press relationships, carry out regular editorial pitches, as well as help drive the social media and influencer marketing strategy. Please note candidates must have a strong PR background.

  • Responsible for managing client's PR strategy, to develop compelling stories that drive brand awareness and purchase behaviour

  • Create press releases

  • Proactively outreach to key editors in long/short lead and online media outlets to secure coverage, features, and news items

  • Bring innovative and new ideas to the table regarding events, mailings, and activations

  • Manage client relationships, hosting regular client meetings

  • Support product launches and promotions

  • Regularly monitor PR initiatives, performance, and results to continuously readjust and improve strategy effectiveness

  • Manage inbound press inbox

  • Work with clients to create and implement social media strategies

  • Oversee day-to-day management of social media campaigns and ensure brand consistency

  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels

  • Social media community management

  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn

  • Ensure client brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology

  • Manage existing relationships with celebrities & influencers

  • Develop new relationships with relevant celebrities & influencers and brand ambassadors through gifting, events, and targeted initiatives

  • Manage brand collaborations

  • Manage product send outs

  • Manage gifting and promotional budget and allowances

Skills, Experience and Qualifications. 

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in PR with an established network of press and influencer contacts

  • Experience in the hospitality or lifestyle brand sector

  • A business-minded individual with strong understanding of lifestyle branding, digital marketing, and communications

  • A confident self-starter 

  • Exceptional communication skills with exemplary use of written English, including the ability to write and edit press releases, designer Q&As, media alerts

  • Well-organised and efficient with good time management and prioritisation skills

  • The ability to summarise and communicate key information clearly

  • A team player who likes to work in a very dynamic environment

  • Eager to adopt responsibilities and take on new challenges

  • The confidence to have a very hands-on approach
